Kelly L. Greene was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kelly attended high school at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia. He attended Wake Forest University where he earned a B.A. in English in 1996. He attended law school at Campbell University and received a J.D. in 1999.
Kelly was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1999. Kelly is a member of the Craven County Bar Association, serving as its President in 2003-2004. He is a member of the United States Eastern District of North Carolina, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Bar Association, and North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
Kelly focuses his practice on state and federal criminal matters and family law.
Thomas Reston Wilson (“Tom”) was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Tom attended and graduated from John Burroughs High School in 1995, Miami University of Ohio (cum laude) in 1999, and St. Louis University School of Law in 2003 (magna cum laude). In a gap year before law school, Tom worked at the Trinity Center in Carteret County teaching environmental education to North Carolina middle school students in the Sound to Sea Program.
While in law school, Tom was a summer intern at the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office working in the Environmental Section, focusing on coastal issues. Tom was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in August of 2003. After law school, Tom clerked for the Honorable J. Douglas McCullough on the North Carolina Court of Appeals from 2003-05. Tom then moved to his wife’s hometown of New Bern, North Carolina, where he worked at Stubbs & Perdue, P.A. Tom soon moved to Greene & Wilson, P.A. in 2007 with Kelly Greene where he worked for 15 years, specializing in State and Federal Criminal law. Most recently, Tom has completed 18 months fulfilling a judicial term on the North Carolina Superior Court bench, presiding over criminal and civil matters in over 25 eastern counties and overseeing a number of murder trials. In addition to his trial court practice, Tom has argued in the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the Federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In January of 2023, Tom was delighted and fortunate to return to his beloved colleagues at Greene, Wilson, Crow & Smith P.A. and the amazing and dedicated staff. In addition to his case load, Tom is currently working on his LLM in English Law through Nottingham Law School, Nottingham England and currently serves as Board Chair for Public Radio East.
Kenneth F. Crow (“Ken”) was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Apex High School, UNC-Chapel Hill and Campbell University Law School. Ken served the State of North Carolina for 25 years before his recent retirement. After law school, Ken worked over 3 years as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting felonies and misdemeanors for 8 eastern North Carolina counties including Craven, Pamlico, Jones and Carteret. Thereafter, Ken practiced law for approximately one year before becoming a District Court Judge in 1994. At age 32, Ken was one of the youngest judges in the State. After serving 8 years as a District Court Judge, Ken was elected Superior Court Judge in 2002 and served in that capacity for over 13 years until his retirement in March 2016.
Ken is a 1996 graduate of the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada. In 1999, the State of North Carolina designated Ken as a Certified Juvenile Law Judge. Ken served as the 3-B Judicial District Drug Court Judge for over 3 years and received a diploma from the Nation Drug Court Institute of Annapolis, Maryland in 2008. Ken is a graduate of the Northwestern University Law and Economics Program and currently sits on the Board of Advisors for the Law and Economics Center at George Mason University. Ken is currently a member of the Craven Community College Board of Trustees and he is a 25-year member and past president of the New Bern Breakfast Rotary Club.
As a veteran of over 500 jury trials, Ken focuses his practice on felony criminal defense, felony probation cases, post-conviction motions and personal injury litigation.
Guy D. Smith was born in New York City. He attended high school at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts before earning a B.A. in History, cum laude, from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Guy received his J.D. cum laude from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans in 2010.
Guy served as a Judge Advocate on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for ten years. During that time he worked as a Prosecutor, Defense Counsel, and Battalion Judge Advocate for 1st Battalion, 5th Marines.
He is a Major in the United States Marine Corps Reserve where he serves as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for 2d Marine Logistics Group aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Guy D. Smith was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2010 and to the North Carolina Bar in 2018. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Craven County Republican Party.
